mar 5, 1770 - Boston Massacre
Description:
The Boston Massacre happened on March 5th, 1770 in Boston, Massachusetts, where British Army soldiers shot and killed people while under attack by a mob. This riot was very heavily publicized by leading Patriots, such as Paul Revere and Samuel Adams, to encourage rebellion against the British authorities. In the end, there were 5 deaths and 6 non-fatal injuries. This is important because it led to the break on taxes of tea, called the Tea Act.
