may 15, 1765 - Quartering Act
Description:
The Quartering Act was given approval on May 15th, 1765, and said that the American colonies would provide British soldiers with housing and any other needs they required. This is important because their charge on forcing housing for the British soldiers led to the Declaratory Act, which includes much more than the Quartering Act.
