1. After the war millions of people were starving and in Europe about 100 million depended on some kind of food relief
2. Germany was divided into two regions, West Germany and East Germany
3. Europe was given money by the United States to help them rebuild after the war and this was called The Marshall Plan
**I think that this is the even that is most significant in European History because this is when HItler stops to have as much power and that was a good thing because if he had kept going he would have tried to spread his ideas to more places outside of Europe and that would of been bad for the world considering that his ideas were all being driven off of racism so there would be much more hated than there is now.**
