The Bourbon Triumvirate was a group of three politicians who dominated Georgia politics for over 20 years. They had a common interest in developing the railroad and mining industries. They were white supremacists who supported the convict lease system. The members were Joseph Brown, Alfred Colquitt, and John Gordon. These men supported Jim Crow laws since they were white supremacists.
