oct 1, 29 - Jesus Christ
At the age of 30-years-old in the year 29 CE Jesus was baptised in the Jordan river and began his ministry.
For the next three-and-a-half years Jesus travelled throughout Israel and Judea. He performed miracles including controlling the elements, healing the sick, and raising the dead; these helped to add weight to his message that he constantly spread of a coming government that would rule the entire globe, brining the Earth back to Edenic conditions and bringing humanity to perfection, peace, and happiness. He told those who would listen that he himself would be the King of this new government and that he would need to die here on Earth to achieve it. To be subjects of this world, Jesus urged the Israelites to listen to his teachings, follow the ways of God, and love one another.
Eventually the time came for the ransom to be paid and through a series of conspiracy, hate-mongering, and betrayal, Jesus was handed over to the Jewish religious leaders, sentenced by a Roman court and nailed to a wooden stake in the April of 33 CE.
