Description:
Emperor Nicholas II ordered the suspension of the meetings of the State Duma and the State Soviet until the end of April because of the revolutionary uprising in Petrograd. The State Soviet, loyal to the Tsar, fulfilled the royal will; the State Duma ignored the Royal Ukase. The Ukase was drawn up on 25 February and entered into force on 26 February.
