Description:
Aboriginal children were forced to leave home to attend resident school. Resident school was focused on the forced labour of their students because the schools were underfunded. Student only can learn about Canadian culture in resident school, so they lost their own culture. Federal government help the Aboriginal students move to provincial school. But many students still needed to travel far to go to school.
