Description:
The Battles of Lexington and Concord were the first of the American Revolutionary War. The battles were the result of the British commander overhearing that supplies of powder and weapons were being kept by Patriots in the towns of Lexington and Concord. During the battle, 73 British soldiers were killed and 49 Colonists were killed, with even more wounded (174 British and 39 Colonists).
