After an arduous battle at Skuldafn against the Stormfists, the Pact forces came out victorious. With the help of the Ruby Brotherband, Fildgor is intercepted in Sovngarde and defeated in combat, proceeding to be taken back to Skuldafn and executed by his brother, King Jorunn.

With the death of Fildgor and the end of the Stormfist rebellion, the Ebonheart Pact delegates present sacred artifacts in the names of their people, and officially seal the Ebonheart Pact with one another.

King Jorunn then ordered the Ruby Brotherband to return to his camp and inform his son, Prince Irnskar, of what had occurred. Together, the men did so.
