After he spoke with Prince Irnskar, Gondul was addressed by Thane Oda Wolf-Sister, who explained that a group called the Ternion Monks may be able to help save King Jorunn — so long as Gondul provides them with the necessary ritual components; namely vampiric blood.

She also explained that an Argonian referred to as the 'Dreamwalker' may be able to assist the King, but she did not know his exact location, only advising Gondul search at Darkwater Crossing.

Gondul then departed to begin his search. Eventually, he found the Argonian referred to as the Dreamwalker — whose name was Stormy-Eyes.

The Argonian was stressed as he attempted to help others with his rituals, though he lacked the necessary materials to perform his ritual. Gondul happily obliged to help him.

As he gathered all necessary materials, Gondul made his way to Stormy-Eyes' house, where he was surprised to catch a Redguard man rummaging through his belongings.

Gondul confronted him, which surprised him. After attempting to lie about his presence, he eventually became hostile, slandering Stormy-Eyes as a practitioner of dark magic, and pushing past Gondul to leave after proclaiming he had what he came for.

As Gondul left the house, the Redguard set his men upon him. After killing them, a chase ensued, ending as the Redguard was cornered near a steep cliff.

He angrily questioned Gondul's reasons for helping the Argonians. He blamed Stormy-Eyes for killing his wife, who he tried to save. He admitted to returning for revenge, using blood to lure the trolls that had bombarded Darkwater Crossing.

He offered to reveal where he hid the materials to Gondul if he spared him, to which Gondul accepted. He felt pity for the man and related with the him over the loss of his wife, bringing to mind Rowena, whose voice also urged Gondul to spare the man.

After retrieving them, Gondul returned to Stormy-Eyes, who quickly proceeded with the ritual to save the life of the woman before them.

After its success, he vowed to assist Gondul in any way he can.
