Gondul aids in the defense of High King Jorunn

Gondul followed the request of Thane Mera Stormcloak, storming into the Hall of Trials just in time to aid in the defense of King Jorunn against Leimaer the Raven and her Stormfist men.

After a short battle, Gondul killed Leimaer and helped Pact soldiers kill the remaining Stormfists. Gondul saw to the King, asking if he was alright.

King Jorunn expressed gratitude for Gondul's help, expressing he was perfectly fine. Gondul took the opportunity to apologize on behalf of his Brotherband for their previous, hostile interaction.

King Jorunn understood, accepting Gondul's apology. Gondul bowed, unlike previously, and proceeded to confirm with Thane Mera Stormcloak that the King was safe. Due to his actions, Gondul is unceremoniously dubbed the Champion of Windhelm.

Thane Mera tells Gondul that while he was aiding King Jorunn, a runner arrived from nearby Fort Morvunskar claiming it was under siege. She was certain it was Fildgor and the Stormfists. She asks Gondul to report to a man named Captain Hamar when he is able to in order to offer aid. Gondul agrees to the request — but after he attends to important matters with his Brotherband.
