Gondul and Vignar both ride for Davon's Watch — Zanthor, Gudrune, Occidere and J'Shearra each deployed to do their own specific duties.
While in Davon's Watch, Gondul and Vignar both met with Rowena at her usual spot in front of the fountain in the town square. She admitted to receiving word from Gudrune about being recruited into Gondul's 'Brotherband,' proceeding to request the three of them speak in solitude.
The two men escorted the blind Bard outside of the city walls, where they spoke further. Rowena explained that an old blind man, robed like herself, had spoken to her in her dreams — alluding to the fact that she will 'Light the Way' — and that she should take up arms and "redeem her honor."
Gondul knew she spoke of the Prophet. Because of this — despite the fact she still retained her Soul, and was not in fact Soulless like everyone else in the Brotherband — Gondul offered her a spot as a healer alongside J'Shearra within the Ruby Brotherband. Shyly, she accepted.
Although blind and not good with a weapon, Rowena was capable of many powerful spells from what Gondul understood. He admired the beautiful bard, feeling a sense of endowing hope in the bold Breton woman. He felt her presence calmed the chaos of war around him.
