Description:
General George C. Marshall formed the Marshall Plan in 1948. The plan provided large scale economic recovery for Western Europe. It was very beneficial for European countries as it helped them economically recover, improved the trained workforce and required European countries to cooperate with one another. The plan also lessened the influence of communism and was overall succesfful and lead to the creation of the EEC/EU.
