Description:
CONTEXT{Trump Jr. later does not recall what this message referred to nor any additional business with the Agalarovs that would correspond to this. A Turkish luxury furniture company called "Dorya" sells Trump-brand furniture [2], & this text could simply be the Agalarov's asking for the incoming Trump Admin.'s permission to do business with the Trump Organization/Dorya in Russia. Although, the Agalarov's history of dealing w/ the Trumps (see 6/9/16 Trump Tower meeting & Nov. 2013 Miss Universe Pageant), the fact that no such business venture ever materialized, and the specific wording of the text (referring to the opening of a "distribution Chanel") opens the possibility that this is referring to the establishment of a political backchannel b/t Russia & the Trump Admin. This is presented as a possibility for further investigation, as there is currently no actual evidence that the text refers to anything particularly nefarious.}
