1961 Holy Family School Opens: The original c1908 church building was converted for use as the Holy Family social hall and auditorium until it was razed in 1955 to make way for the new combination hall-gymnasium, kitchen and clubroom, which was dedicated in February 1956. In 1959, the Archbishop condemned the school building and construction began on the Holy Family School addition to the social hall building. The school opened in September 1961.
