July 10. Alan Farley, special attorney for the city on Huron Cemetery filed a suit against the government for an injunction halting the sale of the Huron cemetery in U.S. District court here. It will be against the United States; Fred Seaton, Secretary of the Interior; the Wyandotte Indian Tribe of Oklahoma, and L.C. Maddox, Wyandotte county register of deeds. Farley said if a law providing for sale of the cemetery by Aug. 1 is followed, local descendants of the Wyandot Indians would be deprived of their rights. K.C. Kansan (WNK)
