Description:
Napoleon sold the territory for 15 million dollars to Thomas Jefferson because he needed money to fund his army's expansion. From here Napoleon slowly gained a large military in which he planned to conquer Europe with. Many of the French people loved this as they wished to be in a more powerful nation. At this point not many other European nations even noticed as France has been in turmoil for the past 25 years.
