jan 1, 1701 - The Seed Drill was invented to help stabilise Britains food supply due to the uncertainty of crop success in across the British colony. The Seed Drill had the desired seeds put on top of the wheelbarrow like machine which would be wheeled along the farmr's fields where it would dig and plant seed across fields at rates never seen before
