The International Basketball Federation, also known as FIBA, which is the French acronym, was created in 1932. FIBA is responsible for all international basketball games. In the present day, over 200 countries are a part of FIBA. FIBA is one of the biggest reasons for the spread of basketball to other countries. The original member of FIBA only contains 8 countries but now the spread of the game has increased that number to 213.
