A unique cluster of Underground Railroad stations were present at Quindaro. Unlike most stations on the Underground Railroad which were isolated and generally about a day’s wagon ride apart, Quindaro was home to a cluster of stations and conductors. Quindaro’s Underground Railroad is structured in a more urban model than was usually present in the Western Underground Railroad.
