jan 1, 1950 - Erwin Chargaff
Description:
Chargaff had two major discoveries that were major breaks in molecular biology. One was that the proportions of nucleotide bases in DNA depend on the species the DNA comes from. The other was that in DNA from any source the amount of T was equal to A and the amount of C was equal to G. These discoveries came to be known as Chargaff’s Rules.
