jan 1, 1911 - Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire breaks out. About 84 people die to fire about 62 people die from jumping through the windows. This Industrial accident angers the public due to the fact that workers could not escape because the doors were locked. No fire safety regulations were put into place before this event.
