Clovis Culture in Kansas. The first person stepping into what is now Wyandotte County, Kansas (WCK) may have been from the Paleo-Indian Clovis Culture. Their culture was defined by a distinctive 'fluted' projectile point. Clovis points have been found around the Kansas River area near Bonner Springs, Wyandotte County, Kansas.
