aug 23, 1939 - German-Soviet Nonaggression pact
Description:
This agreement between Germany and the USSR ensured that neither country would attack the other for at least 10 years. This pact strongly correlated to German aggression in Europe as they began their conquest of conquering Europe, which obviously created political and military tension throughout all of Europe. Also, this pact later created a lot of political tension between the US and USSR, as it revealed to America that the Soviets could not be trusted long term.
