Description:
In 1803, John Dalton made 5 assumptions from his experiments with different gases. The first is that atoms are what make up matter, these atoms are indivisible and indestructible. The next assumption is that all atoms of the same element are identical. Atoms also have different elements which have different weights with different chemical properties. Next is that atoms from different elements that can be combined into simple whole numbers, which form compounds. Finally, the atoms cannot be created or destroyed.
