Description:
While being signed on the 28 of June 1919, the treaty of Versailles only went into action on the 10 of January 1920. The treaty made Germany surrender many of its territories, get rid of its air force and a large proportion of its army. As well as paying off the costs of the war to the allied forces. The treaty brought a formal end to WW1.
