The Michael Haen Police Academy opens just south of the Main Campus. The facility is named after the former faculty and part time officer who died in the line of duty. Haen was also assistant baseball coach and President of the KCKCC Faculty Association. He was inducted into the KCKCC Athletic Hall of Fame earlier in the year.Added to timeline:
