Description:

First College Senate meeting with Chairman Curtis V. Smith, Biology Faculty. The idea came from an American Association of University Professors Conference in Ann Arbor, Michigan attended by Smith and Valerie Webb, Director of Disability Services. A Shared Leadership Development Committee researched and created the Shared Leadership Model from 1997-1999 as a campus-wide project receiving recognition by North Central Accreditation.
