jan 1, 1968 - Board passes resolution to build new campus

Description:

The Board of Trustees passed a resolution for a special bond election to build a new campus for $5.7 million with the remaining costs coming from the U.S. government and other cash funds on hand. The plan was to keep the downtown campus open for business classes but the plan failed after one year in 1973.
