The first Native American reservation, the Brotherton Indian Reservation, showed a negative change as Native Americans went from being able to roam on the land to being voluntarily forced into residing onto a single plot of land. The change Native Americans faced from this event was a change in their freedom as this event made life much harder and bleak due to forcefully following what was best for the government.
