mar 31, 1950 - In the summer of 1950 William Edwards Deming I teach in Japan the technique of statistical control of the process and the philosophy of administration for quality, same year, the Union of Japanese Science and Engineering (UCIJ) instituted the Deming Award for quality and reliability of products and services.
