mar 2, 1811 - Amedeo Avogadro determines that under the same conditions of temperature and pressure, equal volumes of equal gasses contain equal number of molecules. The number of molecules in one gram of a substance is defined by the number 6.0221409×10^23, called Avogadro's number. Avogadro graduated college at age 16.
