dec 29, 1763 - Sugar act The sugar act made Americans have to pay less for taxes on stuff like sugar and molasses and it reenforced payment for taxes so it would be hard to get away with not paying for it. It also taxed foreign goods like sugar, certain wines, coffee, and more. So it made the colonist mad and made them get closer to thinking about fight back.
