Description:
Lexington and Concord were the first two battles of the revolutionary war, which happened on April 19, 1775. These battles were very pivotal, as the British were very confident until they got played and outplanned by the colonists and had to run away while suffering great casualties. These battles were very influential, it showed that the colonists could and would hold their own against the greatest empire on earth at the time. This encouraged the colonists and boosted their morale.
