Description:
Whilst at first the Romans thought of Christianity as a splinter group of Judaism, they later became more and more aggresive towards the religion. They hated the Christians for not performing the rituals and believed this would make the gods not favour them anymore. Presecutions included torture and execution organised by govenors.
