may 24, 312 BC - Aqueducts
Description:
An aqueduct is an artificial channel for conveying water, typically in the form of a bridge across a valley or other gap. The Romans used aqueducts to transport water throughout the city. The aqueducts were built with great materials, and some still stand today in Rome. The Roman aqueducts were a sign of wealth and power in many cities.
