Durcorach the Black Drake leads an invasion against the Bretons of High Rock in 2E 541, following his rise to Emperor. Durcorach was killed by King Emeric at the gates of Daggerfall, where his army of Reachmen was broken and scattered after a failed attack on the city.

Because of Durcorach's death by Emeric at the gates of Daggerfall during this invasion, the Ruby Throne was passed on to Durcorach's heir, Moricar.
