I was instructed by my supervisor to look into a problem with the air coolers on A3. This is not an electrical issue, but my supervisor failed to understand that. It was a mechanical issue due to a cooler leaking, yet, I was assigned to work on this along with a mechanical engineer. The mechanical engineer informed me that the issue was mechanical due to a leaking cooler. This demonstrates once again my supervisor’s lack of knowledge on the facility. At the end of this day I was instructed that I needed to review 600 page document as well as 13 drawings by Friday. Supervisor believes this to be 32 hours of work, however; she does not understand what the work entails. This happened on 8/29/18 as well as she spoke about how I needed to keep an inventory list of all the parts. Assignments are added randomly with no time to finish the previous assignment. Supervisor seems to forget about the previously assigned job and is on to the next job. This has made it difficult for me to focus on completing assignments and learning my new systems in the facility. On 9/12/18 she spoke about the importance of having a redundant communication path in the fire alarm system as another assignment and when I brought up the assignment of reviewing the 600 page document and 13 pages of drawings she seemed to have forgotten.
