aug 31, 2018 - Ms Starfish interferes with fire alarm trouble shooting

On this date we had an issue with losing communication with certain fire alarm panels at the plan. Operations informed me this was not a huge issue as we still had functionality they just wanted the noise to stop. My supervisor told me that this needed to be solved that day and if the communication despite operations saying that this could wait. I kept receiving phone calls from my supervisor during my time trouble shooting this system. Eventually she came down to the site where the communication technicians were working and did nothing to aid in helping the issue to be solved. She did nothing, but interfere when I was trying to get information from the communications foreman. I believe I ended up being called a total of 2 to 3 times after she left the plant. Supervisor did not seem to have any grasp on the situation or the overall functionality of the fire alarm system. I also do not believe she understands that she cannot direct technicians. On another occasion she has instructed me to check to see if the electricians have completed cleaning on one of the house generators. I feel this is stepping over boundaries as it is the responsibility of the foreman II to check on completion of this type of work. It is not the responsibility of myself nor my supervisor or anyone in engineering.
