Description:

A three-day assault by the US Navy on the village of Kuala Batee in Sumatra as punishment for the massacre of the crew of the Friendship merchant vessel. The frigate Potomac successfully defeated the local forces and bombed the settlement, which deterred Sumatran attacks on US ships for six years.
