Description:
The Articles of Confederation was ratified in 1787. The US was 40 million dollars in war debt, and our economy was failing. Our government was very weak, and making choices was very hard. We were making poor economic choices, and having to raise our military was difficult.
A few of the problems with our economy was, money, tariffs and trade. USD money was becoming worthless because we were over printing. There was tariffs between states making it difficult to get many items that we needed. We also could not regualte trade makin git hard to see who is trading what items.
