Description:
The Boston Tea Party took place on December 16, 1773. On this day a group of people, specifically the Sons of Liberty, dressed up as Native Americans and threw out 342 chests of tea. As a result, the Boston Harbor was closed temporarily until the chests of tea were paid for.
