Description:
The Stamp Act was the first tax imposed on the colonists. This act required that all packages would have to have a special stamp. This stamp would have to for paid to be sent. The colonists boycotted the Stamp Act. The Parliament eventually had to repeal the act in order to keep the peace with the colonies.
