jan 1, 1925 - THALASSAEMIA WAS DISCOVERED thalassaemia was first discovered by a Detroit physician. he discover- ed it by doing tests on children with severe anaemia, poor growth, huge abnormal organs, and early childhood death. even though they found the disease they still weren't to sure what caused the disease
