Description:
Intel released the pentium microprocessor which will become a core line in Intel. When it was first released it was outstanding for its time however though it did have some problems in the floating point unit. This chip was Intel's first superscalar x86 microarchitecture, however today it's only considered a mid range processor in between the Celeron and Core series.
