may 3, 1765 - Quartering Act ,1765 The act made the colonists have to house and supply food to the British soldiers. The quartering act also made the colonists pay for the barracks for the soldiers. As a result, the colonists protested the act just like the rest of the coercive acts. The act was in action until the colonists have payed for all of the ruined tea. The act was passed in 1768.
