Martin Luther King, Jr., speaks out against war means that he wanted to bring peace in the world. He wanted for people to talk to everybody that includes black, white, orange, green and/or whichever color or religion. He just wanted to bring peace into the world. So he gave his speech “Beyond Vietnam.” This speech has a very big impact of the characters in the novel "The Outsiders." If the characters in the novel listen to his speech they might stop hurting people and start giving themselves some peace and so to the others. In conclusion if the character in the novel listen to the speech they can help others and themselves get better.
