Description:
Austen receives her only marriage proposal. Oxford grad, Harris Bigg-Wither proposes to Austen while she is visiting his sisters. She did it in order to benefit her family circumstances. However, she changes her mind the next morning and withdraws her acceptance. She ends up never marrying.
