- This was the year that I really started to not care about school at all. Maybe it didn't resonate with me but for whatever reason I just didn't care about school and even made light of my poor performances.
- I also began having issues at school with my classmates. I started gambling in class with other students and losing most of the time. The threat of paying up or getting b
eat up became very stressful. I started sleeping less, which undoubtedly affected my scholastic performance, and I started stealing from my parents to pay the small debts I was accruing.
- I didn't feel like I could really reach out to teachers because they just weren't approachable like that, and I couldn't reach out to my parents because, well, I was stealing from them. I guess I associated all of this with school so I just didn't like it.
