sep 26, 1968 - Brezhnev Doctrine
Description:
The Brezhnev Doctrine was created to give the Soviet Union permission to use military intervention in Eastern bloc countries where left-wing values were being threatened. It was created in response to the Prague Spring and the reforms in the CSSR. Reforms in Eastern bloc countries remained limited and contained as a result.
